Pompano — our debut single

Drawing on Forró grooves of rural Brazil, scales from the Middle East, Cuban montuno patterns, and featuring a rap that serves as the perfect introduction to the members of this unique trio. Pompano’s driving feel and increasingly modulating C-sections were inspired by the adrenaline felt during an early tour experience when the band drove to the wrong city ahead of a gig, due to a navigational error. Luckily, both the gig and this tune turned out just fine.
